Overview
Stancor Fittings & Flanges supplied A234 WPB Carbon Steel and A234 WP11 / WP22 Chrome-Moly in NPS 2 to NPS 24 for butt weld fittings and flanges for a refinery unit revamp in carbon and chrome-moly in India, released against EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with the dimensional and PMI records.
The challenge
The customer needed butt weld fittings and flanges for a refinery unit revamp in carbon and chrome-moly that arrived to the ordered specification and size, on the build or shutdown slot, and fully traceable to a heat number — with the test records attached rather than promised.
What we did
We released 1,850 pieces of A234 WPB Carbon Steel and A234 WP11 / WP22 Chrome-Moly in NPS 2 to NPS 24, inspected before despatch, marked with the heat and part reference, and shipped against the programme with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with the dimensional and PMI records and the ordered test and inspection reports in one document pack.
